I'm thinking about selling my Weatherby 12ga. It's been sitting idle in my safe for years and I don't forsee any pheasant hunting opportunities popping up anytime soon so I'd like to liquidate it and use the funds for my current passion(s). The problem is I don't know what grade it is or what it may be worth. I'm hoping we have some members here "in the know" who might be able to give me an idea? I took a few pics this morning and can take additional if there is something that needs to be seen. Any help would be appreciated.

It's a Grade III Athena. The grade III's are the only ones that came with the inlays in the gold tone. I know that new ones were running 1800 - 2000 a couple of years ago when I looked at buying one.

You can call Weatherby if you are still wondering about it's origins
(805) 227-2600. It looks like a Grade III to me as well, though it looks like I'm late to the party, made by SKB in Japan it should bring 1500-2200 on what I'd consider the bare basement and highest ceiling on a good to excellent condition example...but that's top of the head and not blue book.
