Need Donation Ideas

I have a bunch of old 1990's issue 782 gear including flaks and helmets, H-harness, ammo pouches, canteens and pouches, shelter halves, pins, poles, etc, etc. Need some ideas for where to possibly donate it. I see little point in selling it

Equipment like this is pretty plentiful. Why not sell it and donate the money to a charity of your choice.

Strongly recommend you not throw items out or donate to thrift type stores. You never know where it will end up or who gets the money.

Just as an idea.... shelter halves go for around $20 used. I see them all day long at gun shows, but people do buy them.

I'm with TF. Sell it and donate the cash.

Also, as an idea ... local scout troops might be a good place to start.

Donate the shelter halves, etc. to your local Boy Scout troop.

I appreciate the Scout idea. Never occurred to me that they still used that stuff.
