Rifle Scopes need help choosing a scope for 300 win mag

looking for help picking out a scope for my browning a-bolt 300win mag hunting rifle 100-500 yard range,i have 1000.00 for scope and couple of hundred for rings, also need advice on what mounts to go with

I have (2) 300WSM.

On the first one i have a Monarch 4-16x42 with Burris XTR Rings. I have 900 rounds through this gun, and haven't had any problems thus far with this setup.

The other one i have a Sightron SIII 6-24x50 with IOR Valdada One Piece base and Valdada Rings. Now, i just got this one put together and only have about 50 rounds through it, but so far, LOVE IT!!

Sightron SIII's. Good glass and very repeatable. Prolley go with a 3-10x44 for hunting out to 500yds. Check out several reviews for your own reference. I would also look at the Vortex line of optics.

classifieds are always a good place to look to. You could get a used mark 4 for about that...

Mark IV would do the trick - 4.5-14X50.......

for 500yds just get a used leupold vx-3 or variX-III 3.5-10 or 4.5-14

you can easliy get it and mounts for probably around $500

that is all you really need, add an elevation turret and your good to go.

i run a 3.5-10x40 old school Vari X III tactical on my hunting rigs perfect optic for what you are doing

If you want it now, go with the Sightron SIII or a Zeiss Conquest. If you want to wait a bit longer, think about the new Vortex Viper.

i have a composite a-bolt 300wm with a 3.5-10x50 zeiss conquest. absolutely love that setup
