Hey guys. I have an ar that is sitting without optics and I was thinking that maybe a millet or a falcon could do. It is a .223 with a 1:7 twist and I would like to develop a load for it. I have an ior gen 4 on my 700 and like it alot but I don't have the funds for another. I'm open to ideas and see what you guys come up with. Thanks a bunch hiders.

Re: Need help deciding on optics?

Get a Mueller Tac II. It is bright, cheap (~$290), 95 MOA of adjustments, good glass, mildot, excellent tracking, compact and light.

I have one which I use as the initial scope on my rifles due to its good glass and reliability. Only after I develop a feel for the performance of my rifle do I later upgrade to the alpha or beta class scopes and the Mueller then goes onto my next newest rifle.
