Need help finding a gun smith to build a 17HMR

I'm looking for someone to build a 17HMR
from the ground up. Possibly off of a 40X 22
mag action or maybe custom action. I'm
looking for someone who can build a real
shooter with a quick turn around time. All
help locating someone would be appreciated.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but typical Custom gun smithing does't happen in anything considered quick. That is the nature of the game.

I live in KY, Missouri isn't too bad. As far as times goes, believe me,
I know. I just got my 40x back and 22 that's been on the road for over
a year. I was hoping that someone would know who could do it, because
I sure don't. One shop told me today it would be well over a year.

Get a Savage 93, send it to scott at savagegunsmithing.com

About $140 for his service plus cost of rifle and scope. He can order the rifle for you, I think he only charges dealer cost on it if he does his accuracy package on it.
