need help IDing a part

i was changing my rem 700 xmark trigger to a timney and when i was installing the timney the solid pin in the picture fell out of the action (was tapping in the pins. any help on what that solid pin is from would be appreciated. i need to know if it's from the timney or the original trigger and what it is, can't see where it goes thanks a million

My Timney had the little pin in it to hold the sear and spring in place. The little pin isn't used. Just put the spring in, the sear in and install.

that must be the short pin mentioned in the directions i guess.
