Need help on Rifle Dipping

I have a few rifles (gas piston and bolt) that I am considering getting dipped or painted professionally. They are all high end rifles which I dont want to paint myself, just trying to get a feel on where are some good places to have a rifle painted or dipped.

Not 100% positive, prob multicam, just was more interested in learning what the dipping process was all about and finding a place to have mine either dipped or painted.

Sgt. Ray here from Naugatuck CT. Ian had his rifle done at Lakota Industries. Some other places area: Hydro-Dip, FreedomGraphix, Camotech, Ontargettn, and Larson Tactical. They put a thin film of the cammo material floating on top of the liquid. They then submerge the rifle and pull it out. The film sticks to whatever was not taped off. Hope this helps.

They do a great job. Have 3 stocks done by them. Very durable (no I do not work for them).

Freedom also puts some clear coat over the dip to make sure it does not come off.

There are also some very talented painters on the Hide. 30calsniper, dimensions, etc.

I had a shotgun dipped in mossy oak, and the finish is amazing. Very smooth and durable. The method involved a floating sheet in a solution that the gun is then dipped into. Nice product that definitely takes some skill to do.

They did my McMillan stock and AR in Multicam: fantastic job. Their website looks like it is in the middle of an upgrade, but great folks.
