Need help with a value of a PTR91 rifle

A guy is trying to trade me this rifle. I have no idea what it is worth. I need help with it's value. Keep in mind that if I shoot it and don't like it, I would want to sell it.

Here is the description he gave me:
PTR91F with Navy lower, SEF lower, A2 stock, H&K marked adj. stock that was $525, sniper grip $150, claw mount, scope, 25 mags. $2650


He wants $2650 for it the way it is pictured with 25 mags. All help greatly appreciated.

If it was an actual HK91 then I would say jump on it like a pogo stick if the accessories were factory HK. But you are starting off with a PTR. $2K tops if unfired and $1,500 If shot, and $1,200 if shot out.
Don't pay retail for pre-owned.

PTR's are like $1000 new in some cases. I had one and paid $875 for it on CDNN.

They come with SEF trigger packs already, so that does nothing. They just include a shitty SE lower. The stock worth half of what the gun is.

Just checked on CDNN and NEW ones with green jungle furniture is $899. I would walk away from that and just get one through them and do with it what you want.

Claw mount not sure on, but I would ask over at HKPro.com

Not to mention those claw mounts are fuckin garbage. I think PTR-Inc. can install a rail for you so you can join the modern age of mounting optics.

Also ask for the date code on the MSG-90 stock and see if it's actually HK or ripoff.

I paid $1500 for my real SR9 I'd pay maybe $1100 for that PTR. Maybe less since he lied to you about the cost of the parts.

PTR-91's are not junk. They're good rifles and with a few HK parts can shoot just as well as any HK-91 since they use match grade barrels.

it is not junk it is just not priced right to sell. You can get a new one for less money. Accessories on rifles just don't command that kind of mark-up value. That would be a good price at around $1300-1500.

junk compared to other rifle types in the same genre and pricerange, just my opinion of course. dont like the ergonomic layout or balance compared to a fal or m1a. and accuracy wise buy an ar10. just too many better options than that pos. but again, ill buy it for a dollar.
