I just bought my 1st long range scope and I know I can’t use the Talley bases and rings that I have on the current setup. I am replacing a Swarovski pro hunter 2-12-50 (30mm tube) with a leupold vx5 hd 3.6-18-44 with illuminated reticle.

I want to go with a 20 moa one piece base. Are these all created equal?

I need recommendations on 35mm rings. Any help is appreciated

Gun is a 243 Ackley on a Winchester short action receiver (controlled round feed) with a Bartlien #3 barrel. This is primarily a hunting rifle but I can shoot to 875 at my farm. I won’t be doing any competition.

Thanks for help with a basic question. I spun my head searching the internet.

Go with an Evolution Gun Works 20MOA base, and a set of Seekins Precision 35mm rings.

The EGW/Seekins combo is what I run on pretty much every rifle for the last decade, and I've had zero issues.
