Anybody have any better ideas or input on anything before I put in the orders for the other stuff. I cant find a decent gunsmith i could trust to do all this stuff that lives around me (Eastern OH/Western PA Border) and I was thinking about mailing it out to have it all done but never mailed anyhting like that before. Id be kinda nervous just sending all that equipment away in the mail and hoping some retard post office dipshit does his job. Anybody help me out with my situation?? Also i dont feel like waiting 6-7 months to have it completed but it looks like I dont have an option in that matter if I want it done the right way.

Re: Need help with build

Howdy.
Just a few suggestions:
1. The Terry Cross KMC Loggerhead cheek piece is a much more secure and better designed adjustable cheek piece. McMillian will inlet their stock for these.
2. Near Mfg rings and bases are the best in the business period. Outstanding machining and quality, bar none.
3. Turner Biothane sling is bullet proof. I'm partial to the GP/Tactical model.
4. The Surgeon detachable bottom metal magazine system is amidexterous and a better cleaner design.
5. Look at the Surefire muzzle brake. It works great.
6. Make sure your harris bipod is the swivel model.
7. Hart Barrel 1/10 twist Max HV contour and I would have it fluted.
8. Witicha sling mounts or quick release?
9. Scope-The Premier Heritage is crystal clear. US Optics and Nightforce are great too.

Just another humble opinion. Good luck on your build

Re: Need help with build

You have a nice pile of parts. Buy a nice hard case, pull it out of the factory box, but your parts in it and but the case back in the factory box then ship it insured via brown truck to Jon Beanland in OK. He had my back to me in less than 4 weeks and he can do anything you need. He sent mine back with a 3 shot 1 hole test target. If you want to talk with him he is a member here so just search in beanland.

Re: Need help with build

You have top smiths in PA...like one of the best there is:

Dave Bruno Precision Rifles, LLC
919 Kittanning Ave.
Dayton, PA 16222
Phone: (814) 257-8089
Email: [email protected]
(Shortrange BR, 1K, and X-Course rifles.
Many record-setting BR rifles.)

Go to some local high power matches, talk to the match winner and ask him who he uses or would recommend...there are plenty in PA.

All the suggestions above are awesome too. Problem with each and every top smith is how long you will have to wait. If someone solves that problem, they will be rich!

OH, and DON'T use the post office whatever you do...unless you want to find out where all the retards hang out. UPS is great.
