Any suggestions as to how to get a scope off a m1d rifle? My seems stuck and I do not want to break anything as it is an original Dcm gun.

Lefty loosey, righty tighty. Put some PB Blaster or Kroil on the threads and mating area. Let it sit for a day then try it.

The D's have problems coming loose some many people use loctite or something.
Like mentioned soak it with PB Blaster or something simular.
Heating the mount works too. You can get it pretty warm without hurting it.

I had the same problem with mine a number of years ago. Soaked it first in kroil over night. Still the knob was to tight then applied some heat from my propane touch on lowest setting that was possible for about 20 seconds. Came loose after that. Good luck freeing yours.
