I am tring to build my first Ar-15, I am wanting to put a Vltor MUR as the upper reciever, but worried abot bolt carrier options and headspacing as well as barrel choices. Any info pretaining the building an ar would be very helpful

I guess I am not sure about what question you are trying to get at but Vltor uppers are built to internal mis-spec dimensions so you will be fine with any BCG. You are behind the times on AR band wagon so if you are in a rush to build something I would say whatever barrel you can find for a decent price buy it. If you want to gradually build it then DO some research and find out about what your really want. Here is a simple explanation about what all is involved but I would highly recommend having a qualified individual help or you may be cussing when driving in roll pins.
