Hi everyone. I have a Remington 700 sps varmint .308 with a 26" barrel and I just ordered a SWFA SS 3-15x42 mil-mil scope. I'm looking for suggestions on rings and a picatinny rail. I think I have enough elevation in the scope to reach 1000 meters. I'm planning on ordering a different stock later. Thank you for any advice on the rail and rings in advance.

Never had an issue with EGW scope bases, and Warne rings. Priced right, with great quality.
If you need really low rings, ken Farrell has some of the lowest available.

Seekins Precision 20 MOA rail and low 30mm rings. You don't "need" the 20 MOA but you might as well buy it as it's the same price and you might need it later with another scope when upgrading. It won't hurt anything with your present set up. Seekins has both the rail and rings in stock. Seekins Precision

Thank you both for the suggestions. I really like the Seekins Precision rings. I wasn't really ready to see the price tag though. $100 for the rings & $100 for the rail seems spendy to me. I guess you get what you pay for. I'll have to wait a little longer to shoot the rifle. I do believe I'll order from Seekins. Thanks again.

Good quality cost;) The Ken Farrell stuff is even more money, but the rails come with a bedding groove, and the rings can get you lower if your needing it.

Had Farrell before on a Savage and Seekins is better quality. The Seekins low are as low as you would want to go at .82". Much lower you might come into problems with bolt handle hitting scope.

Spend the money and get quality. It will still be there when you upgrade the scope.
