Need some help reloading my .223

I am just wanting to reload some field ammo for my SCAR. I went to midway and am seeing a bunch of .224 diam bullets?

The section is for .223-.224. Can anyone point me in the right direction. My scar has a 1/7 twist barrel. whats a good bullet for that.

77 SMK over some Tac and you should be good to go.

.224 diameter is the bullet you want. For a 1/7 twist I'd try the 68gr or heavier bullets. Dunno if the 77gr will seat to mag length, but I'd give em a try.

77SMKs or 77gr Noslers may shoot better, they did in my AR-15. 77gr Scenar's have a better BC, Shawn McKena shoots them all the way across and he's won the NTI at Perry with the 77 Scenar's and N540 combination. All can be loaded to mag length.

SMKs for field ammo. I have no plans on competing with this ammo, just for weekend shooting.

Dont see any reason to use Match Kings or Noslers for field work. I'd try and find some cheap heavies and go with them if I reloaded field or practice ammo. I've had good results with some of the Privi Partisan if you want some already loaded and can find it.
