Need some help trourble shooting my Volquartsen

Good Morning,

I just traded for a rifle. It very accurate BUT, not relable.

It a Volquartsen 17HRM
With a Volquartsen Receiver, TG2000 Magnum trigger,
Carbon Fiber with Blow Foward Comp. Barrel
VX5000 Stock
Ruger Magazines

The rifle shots 5 rounds group where all the rounds touch with all the ammo I have tried, except CCI 20gr the group open up a bit.

The problem is that the bolt picks up the round and chambers it but doesn't reset the triger. If I drop the mag & cycle the bolt, it does not eject the round, although it does rest the triger. When the round goes off it ejects the round.

What the Rifles problem?

Sounds like there might be a issue with the trigger group. Give VG a call. They got great customer service. They should fix you up fast.

Followup, I emailed Volquartsen & they responded quickly. They said as long as no one modified the trigger they would fix it for free.
