Rifle Scopes Need some help with Nightforce illumination...

What are the extra illumination settings in the pic for? Specifically the quarter moon type one, the half moon, and the one with the bent arrow through it. Apologies for the bad descriptions, but the pic should clear it all up. Thanks in advance for any info.

The settings above the "off" setting (squiggly arrow thing) should be for NV. Below that should be visible illum settings.
