Rifle Scopes Need some help.....

Hey guy's, I'm in Kandahar and need some help. I have a TA31 ACOG, I also have a Docter mounted on top. I am searching for a winged mount for it. Trijicon no longer has them on their site. I was told I want either the MS17 or possibly the MS18. I believe it to be the MS17 that I am after. I can't seem to get good information either way. Are they just not worth it to have one? It would seem that they would be pretty easy to find, but not the case. I seen one on Ebay, but was not positive which model number I needed. Also, do you know where I can find whichever the one I need? There is VERY little resources over here to be found for just about anything. Thanks for the help.

42 lookers and no one knows yet? What I am trying to do is protect the Docter sight when mounting and un-mounting while on patrol. As some of you know, these up-armored doors don't exactly swing open very quickly when you are in a hurry.

Everything I saw states that they have been discontinued by the manufacturer.

These are open top mounts, so it may not be what you were specifically looking for. Also, I have never bought from these companies, so I don't know their policies...

A few ideas for you: 1) I am not 100% sure, but think that the Burris Fastfire winged mounts will work with the Doctor. 2) Although LaRue no longer makes their MRD mounts (fully caged with QD mount - so maybe puts you too tall), you might be able to track one down. 3) Also, I know you are looking to keep the MRD on top of the ACOG, but you might consider a 45 degree offset mount with the protective wings like this. This is what my preference is, but might be more than what you are looking for....

Looks like JP has a variety of wing mount options with Doctor compatibility. A little pricey, but hopefully what you were looking for (just the wings are at the bottom of the page).... stay safe.

Thanks for the input guys, I will look at the options you gave tomorrow. We have a run to make today and in to the night, it's getting warmer here, they just had their holiday, so things are getting more interesting by the day......

I looked in to the ones at Night Galaxy, Law Enforcement, they are the same company, no luck. Night Vision sale the same answer. I seen the post on AR15, I have a account there. Predator tactical is an option, I would like to keep it up top if I can. Plus rail space is kinda low due to PEQ's and such. I called JP and left a message, hope they have them in stock. Thanks again, I had a long patrol that lasted longer than expected and just got back this morning. Keep the ideas coming if you can!
