Gunsmithing Need someone to coat a barrel

We have any members here that do cerakote, or Moly Resin coating? I have a 7" barrel/thread protector that I need to have coated. It's off being threaded now, but the guy doing that doesn't do any finishing work. Any recommendations?

Honestly, you may put some thought into buying a can of Brownell's Aluma-Hyde II and doing it yourself.

Inexpensive, reasonably easy, quite tough, and DIY. Of course, all of this is assuming that the color you want is available.

I did consider a do-it-yourself approach, but its a sub-gun barrel, and I'm afraid the heat may just burn any stuff I put on there off.

I'd look at the Cerakote website and see if there is a local guy. Its pretty quick and easy job for a 7" barrel

You will want C-Series hi temp if it's a sub gun barrel. I would only charge you $30 plus shipping both ways since it's such a simple job. I'm in Michigan.
