Gunsmithing Need to build a Stock vise Help?

I have a bunch of oak laying around and thought I would build a Vise to hold stocks while I drill them for pillars etc.
Does anyone have pictures of theirs?
Even a commercial units I may be better of buying one, just don't know what to look for.

How do you plan on drilling the holes for pillars? Drill press, hand drill or mill? Ive always done them in the mill and just put some rubber on the vise jaws and snug them up. Make sure the stock is level and drill your holes.

Drill Press. Also wanted it for general stock work such as bedding and assembly. I wouldn't need the clamping feature for most of my stuff. I use a MTM cleaning tray with the cradles and it does most of the stuff I need.
