i need information on rail before the next few days my gun will accept a #19 weaver 2 piece to to mount a red dot i need a one piece . from what ive seen their is a 7/8 1913 rail and a 3/8 1913 rail so i figured mine takes the 3/8's rail. the holes are very close together heres a picture or they all specific to guns if so im F-ed becuase i think mine takes a odd size well hole spaced mount .

What kind of scope are you trying to put on there?

Sorry read post again you said red dot. And you needed a one piece. I agree if someone will make you a custom rail I would go with that.

It is your gun and your decision but I would not go with something from a paintball/ airsoft store. Granted I play paint ball and I own a lot of expensive paintball stuff but I don't put any of it on a firearm. If may work and it may shear off and hit you in the face. I'm sure you know it already but that is a lot of recoil in that 10 ga. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Oh...I see what you are trying to do now. Must have missed it in your earlier posts. My guess is that the only way you are going to get a solid, 1pc base for that rifle is to either modify an existing one or have one made from a rail blank. Check with your local smith tommorw when you see him and see what he can offer. If not locally, get with G. Seekins re: a custom job. If not there, then check with Murphy Precision and see what they cna do for you.

Re: need to learn about 1913-weaver rails fast

on a side note i have fired 15 rds or so though this gn since i got it 3 weeks ago its not that bad . it is loud though like a braked rifle i was told because the bigger bore more gas escapes but aslo has more complete powder burn .

if i just bought a long eye relief scope i would use the mounts i have which arent even for this gun .my brothers is taking welding and his college shop teacher is a machinist he build his own 50 bmg bolt action rifle from scratch so he could make a base of just weld one inbetween the two peice ones i have to make one long 1
