NEVER FORGET. Today is the 24th year since 9/11

Never forgotten.
I have videos of MS Flight Simulators of each flight with the appropriate ATC for the audio. I watch each video, every year on 9/11. At least once a year. I also have the video containing the audio tape of NEADS response to it including Maj. (then) Kevin Nasippany (I believe he got promoted to Lt. Col).

And, besides, I was working in TriBeCa at Greenwich and North Moore Ave. at the time. Ultimately, they evacuated us out of TriBeCa. My Aunt/Uncle had an apartment in Gramercy Park they let me stay at overnight. Next morning I got across the Hudson and to my car at the Train Station (they finally opened the PATH train line).

Muslims celebrating today, democrats dancing in the streets after yesterday. CNN will have a band and fireworks later.
I'm not Jewish but I'd say I am to anyone who is antisemitic. That said, it's sad how many so-called Conservatives and so-called Conservative-Libertarians buy into China's and the Left's antisemitism propaganda.

I remember.... was taking an exam.
I felt numb all day watching the tv... couldnt look away, couldnt find words.
Still cant, and it still breaks me to see that footage again... i tried showing it to my kids last years and all i could do was sob.
We have never recovered.

I was about to go on duty when we got an "all hands on deck" alert from the Chief. I had just turned on the news when the first tower fell
I was on duty as a Fireman that day, assigned to our USAR. We couldn’t go home for 3 more days because of the worry about possible attacks on the west coast.
24 years later I again am on duty, but assigned to a wildfire this time.
It has been an honor to serve as a Fireman for the last 30 years and I am honored to have served with people who responded to 9/11 with my FEMA Task Force. Most have passed due to complications from the airborne particulate they inhaled during the rescue efforts.
I’ll always remember 9/11 and will always honor those who died and those who responded.

I was fishing in LI Sound today and was next to a woman who I was talking to. It was a beautiful clear day and the Manhattan skyline was in plin view. I said to her that imagine that just 24 years ago if we were here and looking at the skyline we would see nothing but smoke. She looked at me and said what do you mean. I replied um its 9/11 the trade centers would be down by now and there would be a debris cloud over the city.She replied oh right like she was oblivious to the days meaning. Packed up my stuff and found another spot on the rail.
I was narrator, videographer and editor of this 9/11 video, shot at the WTC cleanup site exactly one year after the attack.
His name is Alex Loutsky. He was near the towers and watched the first plane hit the first tower. He was the First Responder (he was a paramedic with FDNY for 30 years, recently retired) that activated the NYC Emergency Response System.

Our subjects were heads of financial firms. We scouted offices in World Trade 1 and 7 and came back the next day to take the photographs.
When we were in the offices on the 93rd floor I was thinking what an amazing view from that high up.
I have a notebook with the names of our subjects and the office managers, P.R. managers and secretaries we met on the shoot. All but one of them died in the attack.

Have not forgotten, will not forget. Can tell you where I was that day when it started and where I was when I saw on a tv the towers come down.
I know/realize the religion that these individuals followed wants to continue and do this to all of us Americans.
