The Yankee Marshall has a video or two that says that Goldenwebb and Hickock45 aren't doing it right. I personally think the Yankee Marshall is full of it and he also doesn't have the new Python.
When I first saw that Colt was producing the new Python, I was almost ready to jump on the band wagon as well till I saw some reviews about it.
I bought the S&W 325 a year ago and had nothing but trouble with it. It went back to the factory three times for light primer strikes and more miss fires than Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi have wrinkles.
It's a $1300 POS. Given my experience with the S&W 325, I'm not going to spend a lot of money on the new Python that is still having problems.

I probably won't be buying any new guns this year. Sadly, I've inherited some, and may be inheriting a couple more.

Here’s the latest from Colt and I’m still not convinced that I should buy one.
I tried everything. I sent a video of the multiple miss-fires to them after I got the revolver back from them the 2nd time.
I told them that I wanted my money back from them as the retailer has a 30 day return policy and it's their fault that the revolver was made that way in the first place.
The manager that I was in contact with told me that he advocated for me to get a refund but he lost the case to upper management.
They sent me the revolver back with a heavier hammer spring in it.
I shot 100 rounds through it with two miss-fires. I got those miss-fires when I attempted to fire the revolver as fast as Ed McGivern. Admittedly, I may have short stroked it but will go back out with it again to see if it has any more miss-fires.
Nevertheless, I'm done with Smith & Wesson. They've lost me as a customer.
I also went a bought a Ruger Redhawk in 45 ACP / 45 Colt. I had the same problem with the Redhawk in .45 ACP. And no, it's not the ammunition because it goes bang in the 1911.
The Redhawk's performance was flawless with the 45 Colt ammunition. I don't care about .45 ACP in that revolver because the 45 Colt ammunition is amazing. It's accurate and powerful.
IMHO a lot of the problems with light primer strikes can be placed on multiple failures but a major issue is with the transfer bar.
I don't think enough knietic energy is tranferred to the firing pin to the primer because of the transfer bar.
I had three different revolvers with firing pins affixed to the hammer before I had to sell them because of my marriage and divorce to the Field Marshal. Those revovlers were a S&W 25, S&W 1917 and Colt 1917.
Every round fired through those revolvers went bang.
Check the strain screw on the 325 and ensure it is screwed all the way in. It result in a heavier trigger pull. However, see if it gives you reliable ignition.
If it does, then there you go. You can then back it out a quarter turn at a time. That’ll lighten the pull. Once you start getting unreliable ignition you know you end to far. Turn it back in a quarter turn and blue loctite it.
A to far out strain screw has caused many a headache to S&W owners. When I do a S&W trigger job, I don’t fool with the strain screw to much unless I have to.
Just something to try out.

Neither, it's a 10rd. proprietary Howa magazine. I think they might have been better off using the AR mags, but it isn't a deal breaker for me personally, I'll probably buy 2-3 extras and call it good, since it isn't a rifle that I would use to defend my life.
