Had to mark my Black Dog M261 mags, so they don't get mixed up with the Black Dogs for my TacSol gun!

steve123..

Just got it all together last night, hope to shoot it some today!

My new, replacement TacSol upper runs 100% perfect, my early version was a royal pain, tackdriver but a jammamatic.

Re: New .22 Trainer

Gun seems to like Wolf ME a lot, will shoot it into the .2's @50 yards.

Ran well with a bunch of different cheap ammo, but groups were only 1" or so with all the cheap stuff, ie Fed AE, Rem Lightning, Thunderbolt, Fed.bulk pack, T22, Rem Target, etc.

Only ammo it wouldn't run was some Eley Red box EPS with the very square bullet end, no auto seems to run with it, though.

I had to tweak the follower some in one of the M261 mags, but after that all 3 ran fine. The 2 Black Dogs won't work with more than 19 in a mag, I'll pull them apart and see what's dragging.

Hope I can find some cheaper ammo that will be at least a .5" @50yds consistantly.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with it.

I didn't really get to run the scope through it's paces to see how it tracks, the clicks are just a little bit vague, but I'm impressed with the glass for a $400 scope. I noticed the parallax has to be just right or it's out of focus.
