added a few goodies to her.

first group 168 Smk's and varget

First 400 yard group

Added HS-Precision stock
Timney trigger
Adjustable cheek rest
US Optics 20 MOA base
Wyatt's trigger guard with mags
Vortex Razor HD 5-20


shot this group today
175gr SMK's
45grs N550
group size 4.1 inches at 513 yards

So far every SPS Tactical 308 I've seen has been a shooter.

I got one of those too ..... it shoots much better with the new stock. But, still working up loads. Using 168gr AMAX and AA2520. Still working up by .2 grains at a time. Best group so far is .86 ..... but I know it will do better.

Did you try other weights?? I tried 150gr bullets in mine and it doesn't like them at all. It prefers 168gr.

Try 168 SMK's with varget this is what mine has shot best but it also shoots the 175SMK's very good

This a 7 shot group of 175SMK's with 48grs of N550.the one shot off the group was when it went off before I was quite ready it was the first group fired with my new trigger.
