I spoke with a dealer pretty high up the food chain tonight and he informed me that Sig and S&W were bringing out 308's on an AR platform. Maybe, just have to wait and see........................JJ

I want to see the SIG SAPR 7.62 on the market with original SAN mags. Also my buddy at the show says there is alot and he said alot of intrest in the SAPR 7.62.

The 716 is piston driven, my understanding is that it is similar to the 516 piston system, not the 556 piston system. Personally, I think I'll wait until Sig decides to market the SAPR in the US or comes up with a 556-style version in 7.62.
