new 6,5X47 Lapau barrel otw

i have ordered a 6,5X47l barrel today that goes on my howa 1500 varminter S.A. wich didnt want to shoot with its current factory barrel
i went with the 6,5x47 lapua because it has ballistiks like a 300wm , yet fits in a short action.
if i had a Long action gun here it would have been a 6,5x55 swede.

i ordered it in a heavy benchrest contour straight taper with a tight benchrest chamber, and 26 inch long barrel.
i will have it chambered for the 139 lapua pills with a 8,5:1 twist.

i want to take it out to app. 1,2k for shilouetthe shooting

do you guys think i did good with those specs . any suggestions or recommendations.
do you think im better off with lighter pills

You might want to consider a medium weight contour for Silhouette shooting.There are weight restrictions.

You might find out that running the 130 pills are much more the style you would like to run.?. I shot the 140's also but not any more since the 130 bergers are doing what they are. Plus are you gona have to turn all those necks? BEEN THERE AND DONE THAT AND IT SUCKED!
