This is all information that I heard from some folks in the industry not just scuttlebutt.
I appreciate the AI rifles, chassises and products but I'll support Victor Company where ever possible. </div></div>
I guess if Victor goes tits up and AI suddenly raises the price of their skins we'll all know that's the case but I really doubt it. </div></div>
Thanks for your support guys. I've worked very hard to improve the shooter's experience with AI products. AI makes good stuff but there is always room for improvement.
What makes Victor Co different from most companies is we exist for the love of shooting first and making money second. And this fact is why we can't be pushed out of the market, we will always be here (even if AI wants to engage in predatory pricing.)
So if we sell less skins, so be it. I'll still be right here, answering all your questions, sponsoring your matches and shooting right along side of you guys. I've never had so much fun as developing our products. We aren't going anywhere. : )

I don't see either company going away any time soon. I have seen pics of the new AI skins and they look like the old AI skins with a pistol grip. If the idea was to compete with the Viper Skins they have more work to do. The Viper Skins were a redesign, the new AI skins feel like a "here's your old skins, with a pistol grip!" approach.
Competition drives innovation so the more the merrier. I have just about all of the Victor Company products and they are all excellent and obvious responses to market demand. Michael Victor is making a business out of small, obvious, and neglected tweaks to make a popular product better. Good on him for doing it! To those that say "I will buy AI skins because of the price" I say try both first, or you will likely regret it. Support a good guy and small, American made, business. AI is a large, wealthy company. Rifles are their bread and butter, not skins.
