Sidearms & Scatterguns New Alien Gear Shape Shift Holster

I saw that Alien Gear is coming out with a new holster. It looks pretty slick and an improvement over their other ones. Has anyone seen these and what are your thoughts on it? I was thinking of pre-ordering one.

looks decent. I have an OWB and IWB alien gear. they are ok, but there are better but I like the modularity of this one.

Their pics don't show a good side view of the assembly. To me, that looks like a pretty thick holster once all of the components are put together. IME the thicker the holster, the more uncomfortable and awkward it is to wear. Although I only carry 4 o'clock IWB. For that purpose the thinner the better. I prefer a thinner kydex and leather holster made specific for the firearm and point of carry.

Seems to me when a company tries to make a jack-of-all-trades product, it never really performs any task especially well. I like their other stuff. I have a 3.0 and recommend them to others, but I'll pass on this one.

it definitely has more thickness than many others, but the IWB config doesn't look any thicker than the 3.0 I use as well. the appendix carry is an abomination compared to my G-Code. its a viable alternative to some other garbage products. but yes more simple designs (Raven, Bravo, Gcode) tend to be thinner and more comfortable when carrying IWB, and when carrying OWB, they keep it closer to your frame, where this one sticks way the F out there.
