Tuna,

I've got a couple handfuls of 77SMK's, 77 Noslers, and 75 bthp Hornady's if you'd like to try 'em all. If I were you, since you're running a bolt gun, I'd try the 75 Amax. You won't have the problem of seating depth that I do since I'm shooting an AR.

apa is quite impressive, they build some nice guns and take a great deal of pride from what they have on their site...to confirm, your rifle is a Savage? that is an after mkt bolt knob? thanks in advance

Stock bolt knob and it is a 10FP bolt

Yes they did ...Goning to try to shoot tomorrow but it feels great and everyone at APA is great to work with,on time questions answered

I spoke with Bartlein today and he suggested the same thing with my model 10fp...the only issue is they are about 10 months out now...

Tried some Corbon 77 today seems to like it buck a round but comes loaded in Lapua brass so not so bad.

Nice rifle

Jered and Dave built me a 223ai on a 1-8 broughton 5c a few years ago, the gun is an absolute hammer

i have been running 75g a-max pushed by rl-15 in it for 2 years

24.5g is my fireforming load and shoots great, winchester brass
