I have a new 14.5 Noveske n4 upper. I recently picked up a BCM bcg and ran a few rounds through the gun just dry cycling it. I noticed that when a round was in the chamber it tended to stick as I tried to eject the round. When I dry cycled the rifle without ammo it's fine, some as glass. Any ideas?

Given good ammo, I've not run across that before. Did you assemble the upper, or was it assembled by Noveske? Also, how sticky is it...is it actually difficult to extract, or just a bit of catch?

Additional question...if you assembled it, it isn't a .223 spec chamber is it?

The barrel is 556 spec and it was assembled by noveske. It's more of a catch than anything else. I have to give it some force when attempting to cycle the charging handle to get the round out of the chamber. I have had custom builds before and this is the first time I have run across something such as this. I have a 14.5 afghan noveske and I can dry rack mag after mag through the gun like its glass.

I'd be more curious on how it's acting while firing live rounds. If it was in fact assembled by Noveske then I'd assume headspacing is correct, but as has been said it might not be a bad idea to check with a go gauge if you really would like the peace of mind.
