Trying to spread the word and get an idea of interest here ladies and gents. I'm gonna start producing ar10 barrels and uppers. Barrels will be armalite and dpms compatible. Uppers will be armalite pattern only. Plan on using bartlein barrels for that's what I can get right now, but if you have a blank of quality I'll use that too. Tooling up now and When ready I'll post pics of uppers and groups with them. Like I said I'm trying to get a feel if anyone would interested... Wait times are considerable with the other big two.

Quality of work and reliability of service would seem to be the two most critical factors in building a successful gun smithing business. It usually takes time to establish a solid reputation by consistently providing both. As you've pointed out, there is something of a void in this area right now. Large platform gas rifles certainly seem to be growing in popularity. If you can provide a quality product with solid service you'd likely be successful.

Curious as to why you're limiting your complete uppers to Armalite pattern only? I don't know for sure or have any stats, but it seems that most of these rifles are built on DPMS pattern lowers. You'd be missing out on a lot of potential business by going Armalite only.

Good luck if you decide to move forward!

Cool. Will the armalite pattern (angled) accept pmags. Would love a build a spare upper for my mws

As for why he is limiting to armalite pattern. I would assume that the dpms maket is saturated and knights, lmt, and larue owners have limited options availible for a second upper
