New build caliber help to fit my needs

10 lbs Hunting/minimal use lr gun what caliber......

Needs to be/have.

1. Readily available brass, no fire forming, I reload.
2. Put rounds on steel at 1,400-1,700 yards reliable. Not fling shit out there.
3. I have a 6.5 Creedmoor, want more horsepower
4. Decent barrel life ~1,200+
5. Recoil less is better, it will have a brake on it.

300 wsm on a long action is my first thought but want opinions

300 PRC.

Carbon barrel and stock with a lighter scope and BDL metal will get you down below 10 lbs. Throw a big ol brake on it and you're golden.

Uhh, 10 pound rifles and reliable 1700 round steel impacts don't really go hand in hand...

I have been considering something similar but primarily a light hunting rifle.
The 6.5 GWI seems about perfect in the Tikka T3 using the factory long action magazines.
