I think she's finally finished. There may eventually be a McMillan A5 or an AICS 2.0 if they ever decide to release the damn thing.
Build specs:
Savage 12 action that started life as a 22-250
Pac Nor 308 Win with 16.25" 1-8 barrel
HS Precision Stock that I bedded myself (not to shitty for my first try)
Factory Trigger that was tweaked and tuned to about 2.5 lbs
EGW 25 MOA base
Seekins Rings (Vorted Stamped)
Nightforce 2.5-10x32 Mil/Mil scope (NightVision capable)
Seekins bipod rail
LaRue QD bipod adaptor
Harris Bipod with Phoenix Tactical feet.
Eagle Stock Pack
Coastal Suppressor (My first can, and my first mistake. Deciding on a titanium replacement soon)
So far, I've developed a subsonic load that I'm loving. It's a 220 Sierra Match King being pushed by 11.7 grains of Trailboss powder, all wrapped up in Lapua brass. I've chronographed them at 1030fps. Even with the crappy can, they're quiet as all hell, and dead nuts accurate also. I'm not gonna be that guy who says "It's a 1/2 MOA gun when I do my part", because that's BS. Needless to say, it shoots. I've got a competition at the end of this month where I'm gonna try this sucker out. It will be interesting to see how a 16.25" barrel preforms out at 800 yards.
