Finally got all of my components in and assembled. A little custom machine work still left to be done but close enough to put her together.

The build is a 6.5 Grendel. Started with an AA machined upper, AA Hand guard with an 24" 8.75 twist 5R barrel. Lower is a Stiller Precision with a Timney Skeletized 3 lb trigger, A Phase5 Tactical extended bolt catch release, KNS pins (not installed in the pics), PRS stock, JP scope mount and a NF NXS 5.5X22X56.

All Duracoat work and machine work done by Precision Matters. Just put the peices together last night and finished up this morning. Hope to get some rounds down range this weekend.

Re: New build is just about done

Thanks for the comments guys. The charging handle on the bolt is a nice feature and can be removed. Gonna have to spend a day using it to see if I really care for it or not. I can say that it is much easier to grasp and actuate than the standard charging handle. I will be adding a Badger release to the charging handle to make grasping it easier as well. The muzzel break is an AA. Putting in an order for a ThunderbeastArms 30P-1 after the first of the year to put in place of the break.

Thanks again guys.

Made it out to the range for break in yesterday. It was about 44 degrees outside, slight breeze with mist and rain while I was at the range. Took four rounds down range to get the scope close. The pic is of my next five rounds. Shooting 123 gr Hornady. 100 yrds down range. The spot is 1" in diameter. Got some Bergers and Lapua's on the way.

Not too sure I like the Timney trigger on this gun and may make a change to something a little lighter in pull after a couple more outings.
