Rifle Scopes New Bushnell Elite Tactical 1-6.5x24

Re: New Bushnell Elite Tactical 1-6.5x24

Daylight illumination??? If so it looks like what I've been waiting for for my 16" middy. Could be a good companion to the GAP HDMR I have coming for my SPR.

I'm not sure but possibly. The reticle designs would leave to to think they might be though I don't know. SWFA has some images up but no specs that I saw when I looked.

Re: New Bushnell Elite Tactical 1-6.5x24

The new 1-6.5's look very interesting... the reticles look like they took ideas from both the Vortex 1-4 PST and the SWFA 1-4 HD. Also nice to see them offering both SFP and FFP models.

What has my attention in that thread on OpticsTalk are the new reticles available for the 3-12 FFP.

I've had a pair of the Bushnell 3-12 FFP's for a while now and always thought they were probably one of the best sub-$900 mil/mil FFP scopes out there with the exception of the standard mil-dot reticle. Sure, it gets the job done but there are so many more versatile reticles out there. I figured and hoped in a year or two and Bushnell would offer them with a 1/2-mil style reticle with ~10 mils of elevation holdover to stay current with their competitors-- and it looks like they took it further than that.

The BRT is interesting with the circle and IOR MP-8 style floating center dot and the G2-DMR reticle is great to see being offered as well.

I might have to pick up a pair of the new 3-12 FFPs with the G2-DMR reticle to replace the standard mildot models I have on my air rifles... the DMR reticle allows for a lot more holdover options.

This looks like a pretty good scope coming out, I wonder how the new Leupold 1-6 Mk 6 will stack up against it when it shows up?

I was just thinking the same thing.
