New caliber? What do I need?

I have all of the dies etc for loading my new 17 Remington, but I have no clue what I need to get for case prep (I.e., case trimming).

What do I need to get? For the .223, .308 etc, everything comes in the box. Not so for 17. I have the RCBS Trim Pro.

Pilots? Collets?

Well, if you don't have a collet and pilot that fits your .17 you're sure gonna need 'em before you can put 'em on your Trim Pro. But the collet for .223 should work. ??

It should. Maybe.

I'm just looking for a list of the things I need to start a whole new caliber with case prep. As I said, I've never actually prepped any cases as up until now, I've been using virgin Lapua brass.

I guess what I'm asking is:

If I were to buy a case trimmer that had nothing but the trimmer (no collets, no pilots), what woukd I need to buy in addition so that I could load for the 17 caliber?

How many rounds do you normally shoot? Will the lee cutter work? I've had good luck with it.
