Hi! I design EV battery packs for my day job, lurk the Hide for my night job, and figured I might as well create an account to engage in the conversations on bullet stability. In particular I’m looking forward to testing and documenting some hyperstable monolithics on the 1:10-1:6 barrel blank I ordered from Bartlein.
My current longrange build of choice is a Savage 10 on which I’ve replaced everything but the action itself (Proof 6.5CM Barrel because I have a minor obsession with carbon fiber, MDT ESS chassis with carbon everything, hacked up scope base and carbon forend mounting widgets to fit around an ARC Barloc), and wearing a Cronus BTR I picked up from Doug a few months back. (It’s been awesome and service was exemplary.) So far the most fun I’ve had with this rifle was knocking over the 1000yd chickens at Spokane Valley Rifle & Pistol Club.
