These were factory loads, little dissapointed at the low MV. need to work up a faster load, what powders. I will use the 140gr bullets

Beautiful looking rifle. I’m actually having a 6.5 PRC built by them now. The velocity on the factory ammo, especially the Hornady, does look a bit slow. But I will say the last Proof barrel rifle I had, started off a bit disappointing, but ended up tightening up quite a bit after a few rounds down the tube. I’m sure it’ll tighten up before you know it.

Thanks WTX, yes, Josh said the Proofs do speed up. The turret on my Swaro is set for 2605fps. It was on my 21" Barret Fieldcraft i sold. I need to sttrech it out now, see if the turrets are still accurate enough for deer hunting. 500 yards would be a long shot where I hunt.

I hear RL 16 might get me a few more FPS
