I've damn near given up on finding anything useful at gun shows outside of reloading supplies, but today I happened on a booth with some great knives. I'd bought an ESEE 5 a while back from this knife dealer and he gave me a good deal. I figured I'd see if he had anything cool that would work for a non-tactical EDC knife since my current EDC was pretty beat up, and not very quality to begin with.

After looking over some Benchmades and Striders, which were nice, he pulled out some Chris Reeves. Man, I had to have this one. I'm a buy once cry once kind of guy, and I knew that I wanted to have one go-to folder blade in my pocket that I'd never have to worry about. Here it is, the Chris Reeve Sebenza Insingo (Small):

The tip is a bit different than most of the Sebenzas I've seen. The weight is only around 3 oz. so I don't even feel it in my pocket. It's feels very sturdy and solid in it lockup, and it's scary sharp. I can't remember the last time I walked away from a gun-show with a quality piece. Pretty damn excited about this knife.

Great score! The insingo has the most useful Sebenza blade grind ever. I've been rockin' a few of them (small and large) for the last three years and couldn't be more happy with them.

Thanks, Tyler. I'm still a novice blade guy but I've always hard great things about Chris Reeve's knives. I just never really like the look of the standard Sebenza line but this new one is a gem. My only concern is that I grow so comfortable wearing it that one day I forget to pack it in my suitcase and leave it in my pocket. That would be a disaster.
