Rifle Scopes New FFP .1 MRAD scopes

Cabelas is carrying a new line of FFP .1 MRAD scopes from Blackhawk.
Wen looking at the turret caps, they look suspicously like the Weaver FFP tactical sopes. Not neccasarily a bad thing,
Power ranges are, coincedentally, the same as the Weaver as is the price point. These are .1 MRAD though, adn the Weavers are 1/4 MOA.

Only downers are not illuminated and standard mil-dot.

Weaver and Blackhawk belong to the same parent company, just a FYI.

I would suspect you will see the same scopes from Weaver this week at SHOT.

It does look a lot like the Weaver 4-20 I had. Great scope except for the mismatch reticle/knobs. Gonna take a serious look at these again if these are actually Weavers.

That does look about exactly like the Weaver. If this is the case (and they didn't "cheapen it up" Walmart-style) this is great news.

I've been meaning to write a few notes on the Weaver tactical. I'm extremely impressed with my 4-20. I'll probably sell it soon due to the MOA knobs, but if it had .1 Mil knobs I'd be hanging onto it.

The Blackhawk! scopes are Weaver Tactical scopes. ATK has been doing a good job at expanding the offerings of their companies, IMO. Last year, Weaver told me they had no immediate plans to make mil turrets. I suspect that ATK got on them and told them to do it. I don't see how the standard MOA Weaver Tacticals could have remained competitive if they didn't make a mil/mil setup.
If they ever make this scope illuminated, I'll probably pick up a 3-15x.
It's kind of disappointing that they're only being sold through Cabelas right now. Cabelas has good prices on most of their stuff, but they also price-gouge some products. I'll have to have a chat with the ATK rep next time I see him.

If they have Weaver quality still on the insides...thats great news...if the rocket scientists from Sydney NE did their normal how cheap can the CHICOMs make a scope for us then...look out. As much as I like their clothing and some other house brands...their optics are airsoft quality in general with a few exceptions.
