New FN A3G - FN target group pics

Just picked her up today. Ordered from Cheaper Than Dirt. Serial# 33XXX

Interestingly, there was only one target in the box. I've read where others were getting two, one before bedding and one after. Maybe after getting a .296 group @ 100 yards they decided it didn't need to be sent to GAP

Pretty certain your's has been bedded; and probably by GAP!

Mine came with two. The "pre-bedding" target was cut down to about a 4 inch square and stapled into the back page of the round count and maintenance log book.

All A3G's are bedded by GAP. Mine has the gap bedding info stamped in the log book.

My A1 came with a target like that, something in the .2 range. It's only got a dab of bedding compound from FN but it does ok. I just havent got around to bedding it and dont shoot it that much. It so happens that I drug it out over the weekend and shot it at 600yds just before dark thirty.

The wind got me but these 3 rounds went into a 2 inch cluster

I am so sold on this gun. Here's my test target that came with mine:

I'm probably going to buy another one just to have a spare - not that I think I can break this one.

The day Remington builds a gun that will shoot as good as a FN ill buy one. But i wont be holding my breath. I dont see it EVER HAPPENING
