Really nice looking scope with known to be great glass, however would definitely like to see .1 mil clicks vice the .05.
The zero stop looks really easy and functional as with the 3-24 model. I like the extra magnification but would like to see some more pics on, 10x, 15x, 25x mag to see how the reticle looks against some actual backround targets.
Overall this scope looks very promising and I would be excited to get behind one. Also 24 mils of elevation is pretty nice for the mag ratio. I believe thats possibly more than S&B and Hensoldt which seems to be who March will be competing with.
Lots of scope companies really stepping up their game including SS, Bushnell, IOR, and now add another to list. Decisions, decisions. Cant wait for Shot Show reports this year!

So it's going to be a $3000 "tactical'' scope with an extremely sensitive eyebox, .05 mil adjustment, and 5 mil per turn turrets? No thanks.

I wish they had stayed with the 10 mil knobs and .1 clicks as well guys.
Is the eyebox going to be sensitive at normal mag powers used in tactical matches like say 12x-15x ?

At the extreme ranges this scope is capable of magnifying, the 1/20th mil clicks are a welcome addition.
The 6-24x Hensoldt has the same setup for the same reason

I would love to see how usable the reticle is at the extreme ends of power, 5x to 40x is a HUGE mag range for FFP!

Steve I have the 3-24 and yes the eyebox is tight @ 24x. At 12-15x it seems to be about the same as a NF f1. A 50mm objective might help this. I like their dot style reticle it just needs to be scaled down a little to cover up less of the target. I don't know if you have looked through one but the glass is outstanding. My eyes aren't the best anymore and I am amazed at what I can resolve in good conditions. It seems like it has its issues like many others. It just depends on what compromises you can be comfortable with.

The objective size increase and the tube size enlargement may help with the eye box issues. 40x is alot of magnification to keep the exit diameter usable(positional shooting). I would like to get an eye on this one to see if these dimensions have helped the eye box. This might be a trend to put to use on their other models, as with a better eye box the 3-24 would be an outstanding option.

Gotta root for March for making high magnification range scopes that are light weight, small, and importantly for me (who lives in Ohio and often has to make due with short indoor ranges in the winter) focus close. Features can often be hit or miss though and the prices are sure high.

The reason we have the .05 MIL clicks is for super long range shooting. The .1 MIL clicks past 800 yards tends to miss small targets. To be highly accurate at long range, you need small increments in adjustment without using holdoffs. I know for fast "Practical" shooting it may be a little slow in adjustment. With the ease of the zero set on this model it is nearly impossible to get lost in revolutions, compensating for the 5 MIL revolutions. It is so hard to make a scope that will hit a market perfectly. This is what our 2nd largest market in Australia was asking for in an FFP scope, so we made it. We are always working on new stuff and want to get Great products out there! For you guys shooting extreme long range, this is truly the scope for you!

Those must be a REALLY small targets, since with 0.1 mil clicks you can only be 1.44" off at 800 yds, or 2.88" at 1600 yds...

It's closer to 3" at 800 yards. This rifle is clearly for target shooters. Target scopes use 1/8MOA clicks and I guess this would be the MIL version. March has about a zillion models now and plenty with .1MIL clicks. Probably not a bad idea to have a target model with .05MIL for those who want it.

The X-ring on an F class target is 0.5 MOA at 1000 yds, that's why most F class shooters run 1/8 MOA clicks. You don't want one click to move you half way down the X-ring. A 0.1 mil shift would be even bigger than .25MOA; however, I wouldn't use a scope with mil adjustments for F class shooting as all the target rings are laid out at intervals that are much closer to MOA than mils.

The X-ring on an F class target is 0.5 MOA at 1000 yds, that's why most F class shooters run 1/8 MOA clicks. You don't want one click to move you half way down the X-ring. A 0.1 mil shift would be even bigger than .25MOA; however, I wouldn't use a scope with mil adjustments for F class shooting as all the target rings are laid out at intervals that are much closer to MOA than mils.

but, 0.1 mil is 2.88" at 800 yds, AND <span style="font-weight: bold">you can only be off half a click</span>
with 0.1 mil clicks each clikc is 3.6" at 1000 yds, BUT the maximum you can be off is 1/2 this value = 1.8" (or 0.172 MOA).

The .05 thing is no big deal to me, 2 clicks equal .1; 20 clicks equal 1 mil. Anyhow I am hoping the price is below 3k, as this would make a perfect f-class optic, and still be functional as a backup tactical scope.
