New GAP-10 Arrived

[Why1504]

In May of 2013 I ordered a GAP-10. I waited 14 months for this gun. Over the last few weeks I have regretted the decision to order this gun, deciding I had made a huge mistake.

It arrived late yesterday we shot it out to 200 yards. Below is my best 200 yard group. This is the best I have ever shot in my life. I pulled 2 off and still had a group right at 1 MOA. Just about every group was at 1 MOA. I can't wait until I get used to the trigger and the gun.

I had zero issues. Fit and finish is excellent. No more buyers remorse.

I really like the way the hand guard fits in my hand. It is big and I have big hands. My 3 Gun AR has a Carbon Fiber hand guard and this hand guard is bigger. I also like the flats on the side and the bottom. The texture on the lower half provides a nice grip but doesn't bite.

I had zero copper come out of the barrel during break in. One bit of advise, if you get one of these babies, run the gun wet. Lube it. Then lube it some more! The gun came bone dry. You need to grease her up before shooting.

The beast came in today. I just finished mounting it so I can't give a complete assessment. However, looking thru it, the glass is definitely in the same league as the S&B's I have looked thru. This is my first top line optic. The target above was shot using a Leupold 4-14 scope.
