I've been trying to find out who makes chassis for Defiance Deviant XM-length actions.

I've got a barrel and trigger on the way, looking at likely using the Deviant Tactical in XM-length.

Only thing I can find that actually says it is made for the XM is the MDT ACC. I would rather be in the $500 or so range, after all the money I've already spent on this project, than to have to start at $1100 and go up from there. I would really like a chassis system rather than a 'stock', plus the long wait time on many of them is a major issue, as well.

So, what is out there that will fit an XM action for me to choose from? I like the KRG Bravo and the Cadex Strike as possibilities, but they don't (apparently) come in XM fit. Volume overload reading here has been an issue for me, trying to find this combination of factors wading through all the info here.

Another option is, what is the downside of just going with a long action instead of medium? I don't want to go short action, because I do want the ability to load for a long COAL on heavy bullets in the 6.5 PRC eventually. I mean, is the XM length really worth severely limiting your choices in terms of chassis options?

Thanks for the welcome. I am brand new to long distance, to bolt guns and to reloading. I know I have a lot to learn, and I AM reading and reading and reading... I am just anxious to get started and ordering my action is the part upon which all the other aspects of my rifle hinge, so I don't want to get it wrong. Not to mention, it's an expensive part. lol
