Just bought myself a Remington 700 Long Range in .25-06 to do some paper punching at 200-300 yards.
I topped it off with a Leupold 1 piece mount and rings, and just today picked up a Nikon Monarch "3" 4-16x42 Side Focus Mil Dot.
It's my first attempt at a quality precision rig, I've always tried to go cheap on scopes before. Compared to some things here this scope is very entry level but I think this will be a decent rig to learn on.
Anyone up in New Hampshire feel like going shooting with a newbie who admittedly knows nothing about the long range game?
