Got the greenlight for my first post. Did competition in USPSA and 3 gun for 5 years. Took a break and now switching it up and wanting to touch out to 800+ yards. Looking to get a ruger precision 6.5 but a tough find around here it seems. Just figured it fits my budget and something I can grow into.

Thanks Barry. Cant wait to get my rpr. Narrowing down the glass and mount for it. Trying real hard not to get over zealous and start replacing parts before I get a chance to send some rounds downrange.

Ah yes Guthrie is nice. I snagged a 6.5 rpr recently, just waiting to get the call from my local shop that its here.

Nice. I put a S&B PM II on mine. Excellent rifle. God is good. God made man. Man made The RPR. RPR=GOOD.

Thanks! Got up to the lgs at lunch break to get my eye behind a vortex 4-16 and 6-24. Not the viper pst i was wanting to look through but gave me an idea of what the magnification difference looks like. Settling on the 6-24 for my rpr. A buddy of mine can get me a hell of a deal on them.
