Since getting more in to long range shooting I’ve been lurking a lot more around the hide.

Bought a 6.7x47 based on a deviant and built another .308 based on a deviant. Love them both and looking to stretch their legs this summer.

Scott, how are the steel and targets laid out at jones range (like in 50 or 100yd increments)? Can you move stuff around or no and/or bring your own?

Yea mostly every 100 yards. You can move some easy enough or bring your own. We have some steel at 500 600 700 720 800 900 950 980 1000. Rubber mine belt backers for paper every 100 yards 10 yard 25 yard 50 100 200 300 400 500 600 700 1000

The first steel plate match is march 23th or 24th top 3 finishers get a cash payout. 20bucks to enter. Lots of fun and good fellows clouple ladies shoot now and then

I don’t do the Facebook thing but I’ll track down the info. I’ve been wanting to shoot some matches once I get some rifles lined out. I’m wait for scopes for my 2 best long range rifles currently.

The match at harry jones is at 9am saturday. Regristration is just before that. You dont have to be a member to shoot the match or shoot after. Gary should be there if you want a key for the front gate lock. and become a member.
