Okay, so I've been here for the better part of a year, lurking and learning and would like to get into some long range action. I found this on my local forum and I'm quite interested in it, but I'm not exactly sure what the base rifle is. The seller said it's a Savage Model 12 LRP action with a factory barrel chammbered in 300wsm sitting an XLR chassis. He said it's the "Compact Tactical Package". He also has the HS Precision stock listed in a separate sales thread. He describes it as "a used single shot stock for a savage 12 right hand single shot or a right bolt left port action with 3 mounting screws." The trouble I'm having is finding anything like what he's described listed on Savage's website.

Here are his pics:

And the stock (barrel shown is McGowen 325wsm barrel he's selling with the stock):

Any idea on what the base rifle may be?

Its a single shot savage target action with either a factory barrel cut down or an aftermarket. You should clarify why he's calling it an lrp because even if it was once a factory rifle, it wasn't an lrp unless he changed the bolt head

That's a good point. I'm guessing, and this is only guessing, that he had an LVRP that he then converted to .300wsm. I'm supposed to go look at it Saturday.
