Good Morning

I’m a Deputy Sheriff out of North Florida. Been an avid pistol and carbine shooter for many years.
Never did anything much with long range or PR type stuff.

I have one rig I’ve put a 3x9 Leupold on and have pushed it out to 400 yds with 77 gr

Recently purchased a 20 inch 700 and put a Leupold LRP on it. Ammo just arrived yesterday so i haven't done much with it yet.

Been doing my reading and research, hoping to learn a lot here.

Great place to find it. Get with the Administrator and do the vetting to get the access to the Mil/LE group. It'll put you in with others that can help with current real world apps and loads that may benefit you. Welcome from Middle Georgia and from a former MP SSG keep your head down brother!

Talon in midway has 400. I remember there was somewhere near Starke, Bradford sportsman's farm maybe ?? that had 800.
I've been focused on Pistol and Patrol rifle for so long that ranges with 600 plus yards were not something I paid attention to.

Actually it is not Core any longer, it has been renamed Altus shooting center. Nice facility though. Good people

Thanks, didn't know that was there. Looking at their site (https://www.shaddfarms.net/archery-and-rifle-ranges) it says only to 1K. So do they really go to 1400?

I know there is the ELR place down across from the Volusia club but I'm under the impression that is only for rare occasional facility rentals, not really open day use.

MATTER OF FACT on the 11th he is open for 1400 yrd shot's if you got what it takes, lol $40 to shoot there.
