I joined a while back but have started posting more regularly now that I'm retired and trying to do a bit more shooting and equipment procurement.
I heard that nearly half the forum here is former military which means I should be right at home since I've been military longer than I was a civilian (at least for a few more years).
Question - what's a "push notification"? Does it cancel e-mail notifications? I ask because I enabled it but didn't receive an e-mail when someone posted in a thread I started.

* I worked with an old retired USMC MSG who had four or five Purple Hearts (Vietnam era) who quoted this often. He'd say something to the effect of (paraphrased): "most people learn their lesson after getting shot once, I was just too dumb to figure it out after the first few times."
Once the pin is pulled, Mr. Grenade is not our friend.
